Bend with metal head plug of isolation (MHPI)

To protect PUF isolations and annular cables of SORC from external actions, a MHPI of 200 mm in length is installed at the place of the end of PUF isolation of the bend. At the request of the customer, a MHPI of 650 mm in length can be installed. Fastening the MHPI to the steel pipe is done with welding, the hermetization of the joint is done with a polyethylene casing – heat shrinkable tape.

Notes:

The size from the butt end of the elbow bend to the metal head plug of isolation for the steel pipe of 219 mm in diameter is 70 mm, for the elbow bends of other diameters it is 110 mm.
